4.15 Strong

KEEP RUNNING. KEEP MOVING. NON-PROFIT BRANDING

4.15 Strong started as an unfortunate result of the Boston Marathon bombings on April 15, 2013. 4.15 Strong is running group that has also grown into a foundation that helps raise money to ensure survivors have the support they need for years to come. The 4.15 Strong vision goes beyond Boston and New England. They also want to help victims of other tragedies around the world replicating the model they’ve built, using movement as part of the overall healing process.

BRAND IDENTITY

The 4.15 Strong logo looks the same as it sounds. A strong, thoughtful, recognizable identity that tells a story. The color palette, stripes and the bold italic font style evoke a sense of sport and movement representing the running aspect of the group. We use negative space to tell the remainder of the story. The Boston skyline, within the stripes, and the heart shape, in the number 5, are symbolic of the love and support for those individuals who either died or were injured during the Boston Marathon on April 15, 2013.
